Hello,
In the sentence 'il y avait de petites huttes aux fenêtres desquelles de minuscules visages hirsutes avaient l'air préoccupé.'
Is it possible to replace desquelles with dont?
why use "pourra" instead of "pourront"? I thought tout means every, all.
Is it possible to remove certain lessons from my study plan? I'm not particularly interested in learning the passé simple but I get quizzed on that repeatedly.
I do not really understand why we use "ma" instead of "la" with "peau" here. The lesson on this point speaks of using possessive adjectives when the body part is the subject of the verb or for emphasis. Does "je sens le soleil sur ma peau" suggest a particular emphasis on "peau"? That would not be at all apparent to me. Thank you.
In this text we have : une petite Margarita , une grande pizza Quatre Fromages, and une petite Hawaïenne.
On the internet I am seeing a mix of Pizza names with capitalisation and without capitalisation (in French).
Should they be capitalised, or are both capitalised and uncapitalised names acceptable ?
Thanks
Paul
Salut, ca sera utile d'avoir plus de questions dans le mini-test au bout de la page. En ce moment il y en a deux - mais le lecon s'agit? de plusiers facons d'utiliser rappeler. Rappeler - c'est un casse tete. Desolée - pas de clavier francais.
Would we not always say "un" fois deux. i am not sure why the example uses the feminine article "une". I understand une fois would translate more directly to "once" instead of one times (...). or is it that Une is agreeing with fois a fem noun?

How do you express walking fast for exercise, pas comme une promenade.
I expected the answer to be ...de 1789 au 1799 (having read the lesson notes).
I don't understand why the answer came back as de...à, it is after all between two dates.
Any thoughts on how to make this clearer to understand?
