Missing audio phrase

Just an F.Y.I.:

The exercise is missing the audio, "...et vous prenez la rue en face." during the dictation. I clicked the button several times, but there was no sound.

please help in these two examples:C'est le fils de Martha.He's Martha's son.Qui est Sylvie ? - C'est ma sœur.Who's Sylvie? - She's my sister.

surly if i say: “elle est ma sœur” or “il est le fils de Martha” that is a correct sentences right??????????? i m sure/ think i ve heard that in french!!!! why shouldn’t it work????

Passé la journée ou passé un an?

I came across this question in the quizzes. Why are these two sentences correct? One uses the feminine form and the other the masc. They are both referencing the time in the past. How does one determine if it is about the duration or precise moment?

“J’ai passé la journée avec Martin.”

I spent a day with Martin

“J’ai passé un an en Espagne quand j’avais dix-neuf ans.”

I spent a year in Spain when I was 19

Incorrect usage of washer dryer

In the passage, " ... and Lisa fills the washer dryer.", you should say that Lisa fills the dryer. A washer-dryer is usually a stackable set of machines with the washer on bottom and the dryer on top, although it can also be one integrated machine. In this exercise, Lisa is clearly loading the dryer. We would only say that she is loading the washer dryer if she is loading both machines.

Text correctionHi, in the exercise step-through there is the option “et j’ai cru que c’était une plaisanterie de la part mes copains”. I believe this should be “et j’ai cru que c’était une plaisanterie de la part de mes copains”. The corresponding audio would also need checking.
