This lesson opens with the statement:

So there are two different sentence structures for A.
When we want to prompt someone to remember (B), the structure is:

unless an object pronoun appears in the sentence. If there is, the structure of B becomes:
“me/te/lui/nous/vous/leur + rappeler + de + [infinitif]”
Note this involves two different sentence structures in the case of B.
Each of these sentence structures differ, one from the others, so in fact there are four structures involved in French to express reminding.
As the lesson is presented, a student must retain these four only slightly different structures and identify where to use them in order to progress with this lesson.
Were the lesson split in two - using the A and B situations described above, the student would need to retain and identify only two structures at a time, leading to a better chance of succeeding in A before progressing to B.
I imagine this would lead to this lesson attracting less confusion and improved learning. Or am I missing something? Is there a logic or pattern that evades me?

Is it unusual for "dont" to refer to the distant object of the subordinate clause like this? (Apologies if this is a spoiler for the micro kwiz just above!)

What are the situations in which we add « de » like this? Is it a general rule for talking about rates?

(I saw a related question below, but didn't see how to link this question to that one... so I'm starting a new question.)
My question is about how to think about the meaning of "ainsi que." It's translated as "as well as," but in some examples I run into a singular treatment when my brain seems to expect a plural. I think the lesson here for me is that this isn't a translation that works in some cases. I'm wondering if my feeling is true for American English but maybe not for other varieties?
Here's the sentence that tripped me up:
Les Etats-Unis, ________ l'Angleterre, sont un pays anglophone.The United States, as well as England, is an anglophone country.
In English, I actually wouldn't say a sentence like in the translation above - I would say "The United States, like England, is an anglophone country." OR "The United States and England are anglophone countries." I just wouldn't use "as well as" in that way. So my takeaway is that I shouldn't lean in to heavily on using this as a 1-for-1 translation. Does this work better in, say, British English? Thanks.
