Je suppose qu'on peut dire "Elle est froid(e)" pour signifier "Elle n'est pas chaleureuse"?  Ai-je raison?  Si oui, est-ce que l'adjectif accord avec le sujet dans ce cas?

I have been corrected, (- but not marked wrong), for using a comma between two halves of soit ... soit ... , and there seems to be no consistency between when to do so, and when not too. HELP !!!

I received a question to translate "You're laughing while looking at me." where the correct answer is "Vous riez en me regardant." 

Doesn't regarder mean "to watch" and voir means "to see"?

Wouldn't "looking" in this case mean "en voyant"?

Hi, is there anywhere to find lateral translations of French phrases, allong side the usual translations? For example, with lui and leur it would help me to have the 'to...' aswell as the usual English. Thanks.

In "Tu te souviens de mon ami Alain, que je connais depuis l'école hôtelière", is it okay to use "dont" instead of que?

can you ever use 'depuis' without que, ot only if it relates to time... depuis ce matin, il pleut?
