Why is it 'le jeudi' not just 'jeud'i?

We are talking about a particular Thursday here...

This is absolute problem in lwarning variois uses of same pattern in sentences

can you ever use 'depuis' without que, ot only if it relates to time... depuis ce matin, il pleut?

I don't understand the difference between Je viens a + ville and Je viens de + ville

I thought that se rappeler does not require a de preposition unless it comes before a verb.  Why does she say "Je m'en rappelle ..." in the last sentence and not "je me le rappelle ....?"  Merci !

What does this ........ in the text

I'm having trouble understanding when to use stress pronouns vs. indirect object pronouns.  The sentence "quand un inconnu s'approchait de moi":  Why would this not be "quand un inconnu m'approchait"?  Would it be different if the verb wasn't reflexive?  

I marked myself down for writing "je fais une soupe tiède" rather than "je fais une soupe chaude". 

In English warm doesn't mean hot, and in fact I'm not sure we would say "warm soup", but "hot soup". Does "tiède" mean warm? Or do we always use "chaud" for food?

Also, the bot corrected my "une crème brûlée fait maison" to "une crème brûlée faite maison" so I also marked myself down for that and then it turned out my original version was fine after all. :)
