Ce qui se passe vs Qu'est ce qui se passe

Can someone please help me figure out why the correct answer to "Savez vous . . . s'est passé" is "ce qui" and not "qu'est ce qui se passé"? I thought the latter meant "what happened?"

'Also' or 'but'I think most of the examples could be translated by keeping the negation and using 'but'. At least for me, it's clearer than losing the negation of 'ne' For example: Je n'ai que fait mes devoirs. I didn't do (anything) but my homework. Nous n'avons regardé qu'un film. We didn't watch but one film. Nous n'avons que mangé des bonbons We didn't (do anything) but eat sweets. Nous n'avons mangé que des bonbons We didn't eat (anything) but sweets. They're not perfect English perhaps, but with the right intonation I think they could hold in oral English.

Please add that when using the verb être the Partitive doesn't change For example: Ce sont des poires. ----> Ce ne sont pas des poires.

A suggestionI wish there were tests comprised of questions from all the levels -- I find that knowing which material was covered in each section is helping me unconsciously "game" the test. It would be a great way to review all the material (or perhaps just A0-B2).

"Meme s'il n'est pas fatigué, il devrait aller se coucher" Is it less correct to to omit the "aller" and just say "il devrait se coucher" ?
