I was asked to write "I am 10 minutes late" and I wrote "Je suis dix minutes en retard". I was told that this is incorrect, and the correct answer is "J'ai dix minutes de retard". Don't they both mean the same thing? Was I wrong?

I dont quite understand the necessity of complicating life by using "a ce que" when we can simply use "que" with no losses in meaning. Is there really a difference?

In the correction list offered, I was surprised to see "Le dimanche".
Is there a particular reason why this is correct here since the text implies only the one Sunday, not all Sundays?
