would 'je peux recharger mes piles' be acceptable?
Mildly thrown off, and it's actually only related somewhat, but one of the questions I was asked was "You were going to make soup, but then..." and what threw me off was I attempted to use cuisiner instead of faire, as I thought that's what you used in regards to making food, but the answer used faire? Or is that just specific dishes and general types of food use faire?
Au cours des années, elle m'a transmis sa passion - why is passé composé used? She clearly says 'over the years' so a repeated action? surely the imparfait would be used here?

There is a typo I think in the table of irregular adverbs. Meilleure translates as best, not better.
'Après avoir considéré de faire peindre le mur' why is "DE" used? is 'considéré de' an expression
'plutôt que de remettre du papier peint' why is there "DE" here too?
Why is it "J'ai du mal à (verb)", instead of "J'ai du mal a (verb)"?
I only know we use it for locations, such as "Je suis à Paris"
1. Can I use "empirer" instead of exacerber or aggraver in the sentence "ce qui ne faisant qu'exacerber les problèmes ..."?
2. Why do we use faire ... instead of the word itself?
a library is une bibliothèque
a bookshop is une librairie.. n'est-ce pas? I was under the impression they went to the library?????
