À la bibliothèque (Fill-in-the-blanks kwiz)Bonjour Madame Cécile !
While attempting this exercise on Le Subjonctif Présent, I had queries in the following sentence->
1. J'étais comme votre fils, jusqu'à ce qu'un jour, j'aille dans la bibliothèque de mon quartier,et que je me mette à dévorer les romans “Donjons & Dragons.
In this sentence, Madame, why is the Subjonctif used in the second blank ? Can’t it be “je me mets” ?
2. Oui, et j'ai peur que cela ne lui fasse un peu peur.
Here, Madame, why does Mme. Aurélie use “cela” instead of “il” when referring to a Harry Potter novel ?
Merci encore Madame !
Prenez soin de vous et restez en sécurité.
Bonne journée!
Quebec is also a city; so when to referring to it as such, should the grammatical rules for cities apply? (E.g., Martin habite a Quebec)
(sorry, no accent marks on this keyboard)
Why is a sales ASSISTANT, referred to as vendeur? A salesperson ( un vendeur) is different than a subordinate salesperson assistant. I used the qualifying adjective and it was marked wrong.

I want to know all possible answers for that question
Bonjour,
Can fois and multiplié be interchangeable?
I couldn't see the difference between them...
Merci beaucoup
Why does the quiz mark my answer wrong when i choose: j'ai donné mon ordinateur ancien à la associe....it says correct option is '...mon ancien ordinateur...' but wouldn't that mean 'the last/previous computer that i owned' as per the rule described ?
Is this an exception as in French there are so many exceptions to a rule :( ?
Or is it a mistake in the quiz ? Please clarify . Thanks
What is wrong with merci pour votre attention meaning thanks for listening? I thought this was widely used. Thanks.
