Why "Après manger" and not "Après mangé" or "Après avoir mangé".
Il parle rarement mais il ________ tous les matins.
a) parle a moi
b) me parle
What is the difference? I choised A but answer is B.
Why can't we use "fait le natation" as a translation for "my sister goes swimming every saturday"? In another lesson it talks about how fait le natation is for regular swimming or team.
With the above examples the final 's' in 'je suis a' is silent. But when saying 'Je suis aller..' I have heard the s pronounced? Is there a rule for when the final 's' is silent or not?
Why is it "Il achète du pain"? I think bread is countable so it should be "Il achète des pains"
For the pronunciation of 'finissons' and 'finissez' (or 'choisissons' and 'choisissez'), does the double s sound more like a 's' or 'z'?
