Is this a typo. Is "après-midi" not masculine ?
Hey! Can someone explain to me as to why we include the "à" after "pas" in this sentence? Thanks.
Nous ne nous attendions pas à une telle déception!
I have read your answer to Liz and it still is not clear concerning “why is using dans le to indicate being in an actual dance class wrong?”
According to the notes: “dans + article + noun is used to refer to an actual physical place.”
A “dance” class is not specific enough??
In the video when explaining "we live" she did not pronounce the 's' at the end of 'nous.' Because the 'h' in 'habitons' is silent, shouldn't the 's' in 'nous' be pronounced?
Thank you!
Can I use 'vous craignez les arraignées' ? I thought craindre was 'to fear' or 'to be afraid of'.
Is this translation a mistake? It says this means to sunbathe, but the dictionary says it is to sugarcoat...? Merci!
Why isn't the first sentence "Qu'est-ce que vous pensez de nouvelles technologies ?" "New technologies" is a general statement, as speakers are not talking about specific tech, and the responder even answers by generally referencing "ces nouveaux appareils."
Or otherwise
je ne veux pas du tout lait ?
does the 'du tout' cancel out the de ?? (normal sentence: je ne veux pas de lait)
also regarding verbs that need prepositions before the infinitive...
je ne te permets pas du tout de venir ici
or
je ne te demande pas du tout de me voir
