I understand that in the expression "brand new" you use neuf rather than nouveau, but otherwise when would you use neuf rather than nouveau - or are they equivalent?

In the activity "En attendant Aline (Le Futur Antérieur)"

It's two in the morning, she must have had an accident! Il est deux heures du matin, elle aura eu un accident ! 

As per my understanding, Futur Anterieur is used for "past" (anterior) events in the future. In this context, there is no future.. They are discussing the possibilities in the past. Could someone else explain. I went through the lessons on Futur Anterieur and did the quizzes. I was able to understand clearly. But this particular activity, I could not understand. Please help.

While I understand that the phrase: “Où mets-je mes chaussures d'habitude ?” is technically correct for the exersise,   I am having a hard time mentally processing when I would ever use first-person inversion.  To me, it sounds incredibly snooty and stuck up and something I would never want to suggest that I am. 

Is there a situation I would be inclined to use the first person inversion for asking a question, and why?

Can you say "elle m'a tendu le doigt" instead of "sa doigt" because you know it's her finger?  I thought when it's obvious to whom the body part belongs, the French prefer not to specify as in "J'ai mal à la tête."

Why is this correct?  Isn't "quel, quelle etc." only for things? and while Les filles à qui je pense sont géniales is correct is there a difference in meaning between the two?
