Is there a reason why the quiz accepts "Puis nous avons organisé une fête" and "Nous avons ensuite organisé une soirée", but not "Nous avons ensuite organisé une fête"?

Question about the past participle agreeing when used with 'avoir' in the writing exercise 'A Bad Matchmaker'

Bonjour à tous!

The phrase is: "Après qu'ils sont arrivés et que nous les avons présentés, nous les avons laissé faire connaissance."

I have reviewed the lesson 'Special cases when the past participle agrees...' as well as, student comments going back three years, and l am stumped as to why the past participle of, "...nous les avons laissé faire connaissance" does not agree with the direct object pronoun 'les' (Stéphane and Aline). I understand that "présentés" agrees through the subordinate clause with 'que'. Why would 'laissé' not do the same with it's own direct object pronoun? ... assuming l have it right that both 'les' are direct object pronouns ... Merci!

Sentence formulations

In the example, "Elle n'est pas stupide du tout!", "stupide" is used as an adjective.

However, the formulation given above says: ne + conjugated verb + pas du tout + (infinitive)

Can someone clarify this please.

In the first sentence I think it should be written "je ne m'attendais pas à ce que CE soit si grand". (The 2nd "ce" can be heard on the audio file, but does not appear in the text)

Imparfait vs Passe Compose

In the sentence: donc je me suis baignée tous les jours.

I used imparfait, since it is an ongoing activity - every day - and Juliette is describing what she is doing.

donc je me baignais tous les jours.

Why is passé composé being used here?

Adjectives that go after or before

Bonjour.

I took a quiz and it said I was wrong when I put charment last but in the list it says if an adverb is 2 or more syllables it go after the adjective? Or would charmant not be considered an adverb and incase be considered the adjective of Clark gable?
