New (as in another) versus New (as in brand new)

In the sentence - J'achète toujours une nouvelle chemise..... the shirt is 'brand new' hence should be - J'achète toujours une chemise neuve?

Why is "daté et signé" not feminine to agree with "la position"?

First off, I love all of the dictées that you offer. This is such a wonderful resource! I was confused on one piece of this exercise, though. If "la position" is a feminine noun, why wouldn't its modifying adjectives appear in the feminine form "datée et signée"? This specially confused me since the exercise explicitly noted that "votre position" was the noun being referred back to. Merci!

Pronounciation of "plus"

II noticed that she pronounces the s at the end of "plus". I have never understood when to pronounce this and when not. Could someone explain please?

Gender of regions, counties etc.Ils habitent dans le Yorkshire.They live in Yorkshire.Does this mean all British counties are masculine? And the many regions ending in "-side" eg. Le Merseyside?I am giving up on this topic, for the tenth time (using several websites). I have been doing an hour a day for 3 years, and am no closer to getting a decent score in your test.I am not remotely interested in Swiss cantons, -whatever they are, or American states,- some of which I've heard of, so I have to avoid this topic in all the apps that I use. I'm not suggesting this is your fault, - it's just too hard for me.Still love the website though!!!

Est-ce qu'on peut dire aussi:

Il doit que nous partions la semaine prochaine.

montait vs montrait

For The exhibition also showed the history of the place, I put, L'exhibition montait également l'histoire du lieu, whereas the correction told me it was L'exposition montrait également l'histoire du lieu. Doesn't the extra 'r' indicate 'would show' rather than "showed"?

objections to the tower
