What the best way to say "I will not go" in French
I used revenir for "coming home". Is this wrong? And when should we use each verb?

Bonjour, why is it not 'nous sommes arrivées'? I put an extra 'e' because Marie is a female.
I am wondering why it is not "toute" in the second sentence since it would seem to refer to "la rentrée" which is feminine.
In the translation of ” and I'm skint [US: broke] because of all the gifts that I must buy”, they use the expression ”à cause de” for because of. I was wondering if "en raison de" could be substituted for "à cause de". I tried it but it wasn't accepted. Is there a subtle difference that I don't understand?
Google Translate uses the simpler a 11 heures instead of d'ici 11 heures to translate "by 11". Are both acceptable? Is the one used in the lesson preferable? Which is most commonly used?
On a writing exercise (Cette Semaine) was asked to translate : On Monday, I went shopping with my son. My response - Lundi, j'ai fait les magasins avec mon fils. It didn’t match answers given - Lundi, je suis allé faire les magasins avec mon fils. Is there anything wrong with my answer? Went shopping is translated similarly here.
I would like to know why retenir means "to learn" here and not apprendre
