Is avoir à a possible alternative to devoir?
Can avoir à ever be used instead of devoir? For example j'ai à vous remercier instead of je dois vous remercier. The translation says "like alongside clear springs."
Does the word "golfes" mean "springs"?
ll envoie les fleurs à Sophie
to
ll les lui envoie. Why not
ll lui les envoie
is this totally wrong? Please clarify. Thank you.
