"Sarah didn't use to trust ..." is poor English. The correct form is "Sarah used not to trust ...".

Needing to show possession of body partAre these both correct for saying, I wish my hair was thick: "Je me souhaite que les cheveux soient épais" or, " Je souhaite que mes cheveux soient epais?" Can you make basically any verb pronomial by adding reflexis pronouns and then know who's "body part" you're talking about? Thank you!

Quiz question 'Je suis en vacances du neuf au treize juillet.' Shouldn't the quiz question use the de (vs du) form because we're talking about specific dates? It seems unlikely I would have the 9th thru 13th off every year?

"les verres" - "wipes glasses" ou "wipes the glasses"?Un des réponses correctes était "elle essuie les verres." La traduction était "She wipes glasses." Est-ce-que ca ne doigt pas "She wipes THE glasses."?

Aller à versus aller dans

One question I did not see addressed in the other submissions below is the difference between “aller à la piscine” and “aller dans le petit bassin”. I assume it is because, in the latter case, she is literally entering into the water of the pool, not just going to the oplace where the pool is located?

Another way to say - You need to have had your shower before noon."Il faut que tu aies pris ta douche avant midi." (You have to have had your shower before noon.You need to have had your shower before noon.) Would it also be correct to say the following: "Il faut que tu aies eu ta douche avant midi"?
