So can dans be replaced with apres to mean the same thing here?

We will eat in an hour's time/after an hour,
" Nous mangerons dans une heure/apres une heure. "

If so, saying this would make the lesson easier to grasp, because dans and en mean practically the same thing when en means in in my head.

Why use indicative passe simple? (sorry can`t insert an accent).Elle courait quand le bus arriva. Arriva to my knowledge is not spoken, therefore would this be the format in a written report?

minuit and et demie / et quart / moins le quart

The lesson says that one uses et demie / et quart / moins le quart in 1-12 o'clock. But how about minuit? Can I say "Il est minuit et demie / et quart / moins le quart" ?

Pour + infin + pp only is in past tense??From reading the explanation above it explains that you can only use pour + infinitive and pp when the action is in the past or have I misunderstood? In the example given it says : Tu auras une médaille pour avoir sauvé ce pauvre chat. You'll get a medal for saving that poor cat. Would it not be for having saved that poor cat?? Thanks in advance!

With perfect tense?Salut, In the example it says 'nous n'avons acheté aucune voiture' so does this not follow the normal rule with negatives that it goes around the auxiliary verb in the perfect tense? Merci!

mieux instead of meilleureHere's an example from your quiz: "Annette est meilleure en natation que Julie." Since we're referring to "swimming", a verb...wouldn't we use "mieux" here instead of "meilleure?
