Se rappeler avec ou sans “de” ou “des”For a question on the topic of rappeler and souvenir the use of “de” is tested. I gave the response " Vous vous rappelez Îles Cyclades" and did not use rappelez “des” but this was marked incorrect. All discussion communicates that "de" is not needed or is optional after "rappeler" except for stressed pronoun. This is in contrast to requiring “de” after se souvenir. I am trying to understand why "des" is needed in this situation.

J’ai très faim

I have always used the term « j’ai très faim », but I am wondering about the grammar. I believe that « faim » is a noun and « très » is an adverb. I guess that there are times when an adverb can modify a noun? Does it then become an adjective? I have just never questioned this before!

amener vs emmener

In the sentence "C'est la dernière fois que je t'amène avec moi !" Would "emmener" (= to take a person) be a better choice of verb?

Choosing the correct tense

Bonjour Madame Cécile !

Two sentences are given as->

1.Quand vous voyagerez en France, vous serez très occupé.

When you travel to France, you'll be very busy.

2.Quand ils arriveront, tu iras les accueillir.

When they arrive, you will go and welcome them.

Here, I would like to raise a question as to why one cannot use Le Futur Antérieur in the clauses after Quand in the two sentences mentioned above. Why are both the clauses using Le Futur Simple ?

One action precedes the other in the future so why not Le Futur Antérieur ?

What does Le Futur Simple in both the clauses signify ?
