Is enfants not plural so the objective pronoun is leurs? Leur would equal "un enfant"?
Position of adverbs.
In a multiple choice question, I was presented with "plus tard" at the beginning of a sentence.
"Plus tard, elle te parlera."
This lesson does not teach this, or did I miss something?
Sidenote...to my ear this sentence sounded correct...I had selected it then checked the lesson, when I did not see this particular construction discussed I reversed my decision. I can hear myself saying "she will talk to you later" in French this way.
This was fun, made me hungry.
Why are the fruit in : "les sorbets au citron et à la fraise" singular, while in the pie "aux framboises" they are plural?
"Les pommes ? Anne les a ___ mangées."
Isn't it "a mangé"?
When to use devoir in the imparfait or the passé composé is very difficult (at least for me). The related lesson in this exercise advises that the imparfait for devoir is used for “supposed to”, and the passé composé is used for “had to” or “must have”. So using that logic, the sentence : “I must have been 3 or 4” should have been translated as “J’ai dû avoir trois ou quatre ans”, but that seems to be incorrect.
Maybe more clarification is needed on that lesson with more examples, because this answer seems to be a contradiction to the lesson .
