Passé Composé instead of Imparfait

Why is the first sentence, "I've always loved school." translated in the Passé Composé instead of Imparfait: "J'ai toujours adoré l'école" ? This seems to fit the pattern of giving a description (of me in my past), and since it's "always", it doesn't seem to have a clear beginning and end in the past.

Why is there no article for Halloween?

I went with "Le Halloween".

In my research, I found reference to an answer to a question that "Noël and Pâques don't have an article in front of them but the Saints days do". Is Halloween like Christmas and Easter (no article), and does this apply to other non-Saint holidays?

confused with de..a and du.. au

hello, i am trying to understand this lesson but how the topic is represented is very confusing and tedious to me. is there a way to edit the lesson and put it in a table with a column of all the de.. a and du..au and their explanations. i am so discouraged :(

Usage de "fois"

Est-ce que c'est necessaire pour repèter "dois" apres "dernière"? C'est une structure parallel in cui la premiere "fois" est assume. Comme en anglais:. It was the first time, but will probably be the last. Sans "fois" encore. Merci beaucoup.
