Bonjour Madame,
In the last line of the passage which reads “Ils viendront nous accueillir les bras grand ouverts.” The English translation suggests ‘They will come to welcome us with their arms wide open.’
Why doesn’t the French sentence use ‘avec’ and ‘leur’ unlike the English translation as given in the hint ?
Please clarify the grammatical reason behind it.

"You would go there" is translated as "Tu irais la-bas..." above. Could it also be: "Tu y irais?

I didn’t have a clue what the colloquial for “The only fly in the ointment” was, so I had a wee search online and one suggestion was “Un seul cheval dans la soupe”, which made me laugh so I used that. I know you marked me wrong in favour of “La seule ombre au tableau”, but can the used ?
According to the above rule, each/every month should only be chaque mois, since "chaque" goes with a singular noun, and "tous les" goes with a plural noun. How is "mois" plural? Just because it has an "s" at the end? Very confusing. Please help!
