'Some' in this sentence can be thousands of people, we cannot use 'quelques' in this case, is it? But using de numbreux sounds subjective

I don’t see any rule offered as to when to use faire de or jouer à. In fact the samples provided include both, “Il fair du tennis” and “Il joue à tennis.” Is there a rule as to when to use one or the other?

They  seem to be both mean to clean 

1)I just did a quiz on futur proche. One answer was: Demain, j'y verrai  plus clair. (Tomorrow, I will see more clearly.) What does y represent here?

2) Ils sont vus des animaux en Afrique? Oui, ils y en a vus. If only a single adverbial pronoun is acceptable, which one do I select?
