Why is ‘ne soyez’ marked correct. Isn’t this subjonctif passé and isn’t fatiguer conjugated with avoir in compound tensed?
Can we use "ne pas" in front of the verb (taught in "Negating infinitives in indirect speech" lesson") with "pour que"? If so, can you give examples?
I just put réussir à un examen in one of your tests and you marked the "à" as wrong although I was always taught this was correct. I have checked in both Collins dictionary and in the Harraps dictionary and they both say réussir à un examen. Please could you explain this?
You gave the example "I'll have a coke" and marked this wrong when I wrote "Je prendrai ...". I was puzzled and read the grammar lesson which explained about the 'futur proche' using "aller + verb". I was aware of that construction although not aware that it had the technical name 'futur proche'. However, all the examples given in English used "going to + verb" which seems correct to me. On the contrary, "I will have" sounds to me like a simple future tense and should have been accepted. I suggest your sentence should have read "I'm going to have", to make it clear to the student what construction you require.
I was almost finished the level evaluation test when I inadvertently logged out.
However when I returned clicked on finish test to bring back the work and was told I had 0% correct with nothing answered (not true). Why can't I access the test again or a similar one? I'd like to know the results. Now the system is choosing work for me based on 0% knowledge.
Can this be rectified?
Thanks,
Is there a quick way to see and hear the difference in vowels and the same vowels accented?
Why is "He's thinking of her" - Il pense à elle instead of Il lui pense?
If someone were to ask the question "Pense-il a Marie?" Would the answer be "Oui, il lui pense."
