Shouldn’t it be
On est parti tôt??
'I find this couple magnificent." My answer was "je trouve ce couple magnifique." It was corrected:
je trouve ce couple magnigfique.
That does not seem right to me, according to the lesson.
why there's not il/elle; nous; ils/elles?
«Il pense avoir fini ce rapport d'ici jeudi.
He thinks he'll have finished this report by Thursday».
«ATTENTION
When using verbs of opinions such as penser (to think) and croire (to believe) to say 'I believe that / I think that' in French, you always need to put que ('that') after them, whereas in English you can sometimes omit it.»The first quote is an example from this lesson, the second from the lesson on penser que, croire que. Although the English translation in the lesson doesn't include 'that', it is implied and seems to meet the previously noted rule that 'pense que' should always be used in French. I also don't understand why it would not be 'pense qu'il avoir fini'? What am I missing? Thanks
I ai utilisé "se réunir" au lieu de "se retrouver" ou "se rejoindre" mais ce choix n'était pas accepté ? Pourquoi ?

In a sentence with a main clause and a si clause, the first uses the conditionell and the second the imparfait. For example, Je partirais si j'avais une voiture. Would it not make more sense to use the conditionelle for the si clause as well? After all, it also expresses a hypothetical situation. Why the different modes in the main clause and the si clause?

Having read the transcript and read the translation, I was able to follow most (70%) of what the narrator was saying.
I thought French was supposed to be easy! (It isn't).
I'm killing myself trying to learn it. I'm a doctor and supposed to be smart but French is the hardest thing I've ever done....
HELP!
Bonjour. I notice that the 's' of moins is not pronounced even though a vowel follows. Is this just a rule, that you don't 'faire la liaison' with the word 'moins'?
