Quelle est la différence entre les mots "shooter" and "shot" ? Les deux options ont été présentées dans les réponses. L’un est-il utilisé avec des noms et l’autre avec des verbes ? ("Shooter" was given as an option when using "pour la digestion" [what I used] and "shot" when using "digérer").

Please provide further explanation about the phrase "Peut-être qu'elle est allée dire bonjour..."  I believe that in English, we would write it, "Perhaps she went to say 'Hello' ..."  Why does French not have quote marks around something that is said?  For example, how would you write the following in French:  The farmer said, "I'm going into town to buy a cat."?

In the conditional phrase in the second sentence, we have "...si je ne voulais pas être père...".  I have terrible hearing, but I thought I heard d'être père.   I know that vouloir does not take a preposition to introduce an infinitive, so I was dubious.  I certainly did not hear an elision of the 's' of pas with être.   Are my ears deceiving me?
