Can the verb following "depuis que" be in the present tense? All examples are in passe composé, but you say "depuis que" is followed by the indicative. Could this be the indicative present?

Present continuousI don't see any example with the present continuous, but I guess it's the same here as it is with other verbs, correct? "I'm getting up to go to work" can be translated to "Je me lève pour aller au travail"?

Why "bien" is used to describe certain nouns (instead of an adjective).....When one is expressing satisfaction with something, "bien" is used. Ce film est bien.... C'est bien, je suis heureuse avec cela.

Qu'est-ce que c'est qu'un stylo vs Qu'est-ce que c'est un styloThe examples give both the options for un stylo but the Kwiz I just did only accepts Qu'est-ce que c'est qu'un gendarme, and Qu'est-ce que c'est un gendarme is marked wrong. Is there something different between un gendarme and un stylo that mandates using Qu'est-ce que c'est qu'?

The table is labeled oppositely to another I have seenhttp://leconjugueur.lefigaro.fr/conjugaison/verbe/s%27asseoir.html The lists here are numbered oppositely to the link above (1st form 2nd form). The Figaro site says: La réforme de l'orthographe de 1990 autorise à écrire le verbe asseoir sous la forme assoir. I don't know the conventions of the figaro site- thus I don't know which form is the pre 1990 one, and which is post 1990. I don't know enough about verb conjugations to guess which is for s'asseoir and which is for s'assoir (same applies to this lesson). It would be helpful to give info here as to which is which. Kwiziq uses Connaître, which according to figaro is the pre-1990 version (as do other teaching sites I've seen). Same for figaro http://leconjugueur.lefigaro.fr/conjugaison/verbe/connaitre.html It says however: La réforme de l'orthographe de 1990 autorise à écrire le verbe connaître sous la forme connaitre. By comparison with s'asseoir and s'assoir, there's hardly any difference in conjugation of connaitre vs connaître (circomflex).

Understand 'les toilettes' when referring to public restrooms where there are probably more than one. But what about in homes where there is only one?

"belle" after of before noun?

I was taking a test and I saw the following statement:

"une fillette belle comme une fleur"

I tought it is wrong but it was marked as correct. Shouldn't "belle" come before "fillette"? like this sentecne?

"une belle fillette comme une fleur"
