Tu es means “you are”
So when you ask someone Are you hungry?
It should be
Tu es faim?
But why are we saying?
Tu as faim?
For the question, Je sens quelque chose, et toi ? - Non, je ..., can I also say 'No, je ne sens pas du tout? ' What are differences between ne...rien and pas du tout? Thanks.
i was wondering why for the sentence
j’aime les escargots. It becomes je le aime instead of je les aime.
thank you
