Hello, I am wondering why to use "c´est" instead of "elle est" to translate "she is an angel". Doesn't "c´est" mean "it is", used to describe an object? Can you use "c´est" about a person and why is it better than simply saying "elle est"?
la fin de la deuxième phrase - les termes que le Chancelier allemand Adolf Hitler LUI imposerait.
"LUI" parce que les termes seraient imposés au maréchal Pétain. ou
"Y" parce que les termes seraient imposés à la France. (...la France accepterait les termes que le Chancelier allemand Adolf Hitler y imposerait.)
Hi, normally, there is a hint when a proper name is used, but not in this case for Cyril. Is that intentional? Are we supposed to be good enough by now to pick up proper names? :)
Why in "tu" form the conjugation changes "Regarde-lui", but not "Regardes-lui"?
Whereas in "nous" the ending is the same "Arretons-lui"
I'm confused by the correct answer to this question:

I wrote "un cent million de". However, the correct answer was "cent millions de".
Why do we drop the "un" in this case (unlike the examples)? Why is "millions" plural, even though it is only 1 million?
I wrote á chaque soirs Elle lui raconte un histoire. To mean every night she told him a story and got it wrong in the quiz .and the acceptable answer was: Tous les soirs, Elle raconte un histoire. Doesn’t á chaque soirs also mean every night?
What is the difference between les transports en commun and les transports publics?

Why is the question: Alain paye-t-il l'hotel and not Alain a-t-il paye l'hotel?
