Also, I wrote: "Il se revele que son pere est le gerant de ce restaurant." rather than, "il s'avere que..."
According to Collins, "ll s'est revele que..." = "It turned out that...";
and, "s'averer" = "to prove to be"
"Ce veloute de champignons semble divin." Is using, "semble" in place of "a l'air" equally acceptable?

Couldn't find "pithviers" anywhere so assume it is another word for "un tourtre"
"perdrix" and "perveau" "Un pithiviers de perdreau" sounds like it is right out of a nursery rhyme!

The exercise skipped forward several times before I could grade myself. Some sort of glitch in the system, or did I do something wrong inadvertently?
The question asked for the correct version translated with despite not in spite but this is still labeled correct. I'm confused.

I forget what lesson in A1 I saw this and now I can't find it. But one sentence has c'est un Vieux sac for it's an old bag but the second one is c'est un vieil home for he's an old man. My question is why is c'est for he is or she is shouldn't it be il/Elle est?

Hi, why are we using an indirect object in this case? Is the expression "tenir à/par" to hold someone's hand (by the hand)?
For the last question, two alternative answers were given which included "il s’est transformé en un aimable/ agréable jeune homme".
That "en un ai-/ ag-" sounds a little strange to an English ear - is it common?
Where has the link to this lesson gone for above mentioned special cases of past participle agreeing with the object when using avoir? I would like to see this lesson,it is not popping up in my feed as the question is only testing Quelles (A2)..

Are there any patterns to looks for in the verbs that are conjugated with è VS. the verbs conjugated with the (ll/tt) rule? If not, are there any tricks to memorize these select exceptions from the (ll/tt) rule?
I can't seem to get these two lessons down because I have no rule for distinguishing between the verbs which have distinct conjugations.
I agree with Frank. In the audio there are complete phrases which are missing: "une poule faite en chocolat au lait"; and "un lapin fait en chocolat noir".
Also, the written summary at the end doesn't match what is given during the lesson. The answers given don't use the expression, "fait de" but simply use "de". Which leads me to the next question:
The use of "faite de + chocolat au lait/chocolat noir". The lesson related to this states that to describe what something is made of "en" or "de" is used and with foods "a la" or "au" to describe a flavor. Why then is "fait en..." used rather than "une poule en chocolat au lait" for example? And, why "une poule de chocolat" rather than, "une poule en chocolat"?
And, why "un beau rubin dore" rather than "un beau rubin en or" ?
