Why is it "...qu'il ne pleuve." as opposed to "qu'il pleuve."?Mathilde put the car away before it rained.
I gave elle s’assoit avec son fils but this was corrected to elle s’assois which isn’t the 3rd person .
Why is this phrase not ""Tu as les billets ? Oui, je les en ai tous."
Is it always incorrect to write "vingtième siècle" rather than "XXe siècle" ?
I get caught out by the punctuation in the listening exercises, partly because modern English writing has now dropped so many of the commas that we used to have, and partly because it’s difficult to know from the audio what punctuation is needed. A lesson on this would be useful.
Something strange is going on today - it’s not working properly
In the other lessons, i saw that "De qui" "Qui" "Dont" "Lequel" and "Duquel" are having the same literal meanings in the English translation. Can, you explain this briefly?
Eg. Le garçon à côté de qui tu es assise a de beaux yeux.
Eg. Voici les amis au sujet desquels nous sommes inquiets.
Eg. Le garçon dont tu parles est très gentil.
Eg. La fille derrière qui je suis assis est belle.
All of them means "Whom' may i know why? and all of them seem so complicated while they literally mean the same.
I don't understand "nous a le plus marqués" Maybe it should be "nous avons le plus marqués" ?
