Mangeons-en vs allez-vous enThe lesson shows us "mangeons-en" and I know that "allez-vous en" is a valid sentence. Both are imperative. Why the difference in construction? Why is it not "mangeons-nous en" or "allez-en"? It is just that "allez-vous en" is an idiom or there some underlying graammatical rule?

C'est or Il/Elle EstSeriously lost on this one - you mention that C'est will be followed by a noun nd il/elle by an adjective yet in the practice test 'Tu aimes la couleur violette ? Oui, ________ est très joli!' expects the response C'est

Why don't we use indirect object pronouns like je leur pense ?

I’m having trouble figuring out why it’s je me fais FAIRE de nouvelles sandales. In other similar constructions, il se fait couper les cheveux, FAIRE isn’t necessary yet the meaning is similar in that they both are having something done. What am I missing?

A question about one of the above sentencesIn the sentence above that says "Elle a une petite voix: on l'entend peu", why is that translated as "She has a small voice: We don't hear her much". I would have thought that "on l'entend peu" would have translated to 'we hear her much'. Would you please explain this? Thank you. Catherine

'donc je dois beaucoup pratiquer' (week 57 writing challenge, level A1)Why is beaucoup placed before pratiquer? In the sentence 'Elle voyageait beaucoup.' this lesson (and in other examples), beaucoup is placed after the verb. Thank you for your help! Terri
