I answered "avoir révisée" because "tu es allée" tells me tu is feminine but the correct answer given is "avoir revise".
What am I missing"
I have listened to this portion perhaps ten times and it seems he is saying "il vit faut qu'on". Is there some emphasis that my ear is not used to?
On ne peut pas dire on peut le faire?
Hi -
I was trying to work out how you would say 'if the weather is good, we can take a walk in the park'. From the above it looks I can either use Se Promener or Faire une Promenade, but im not sure how to combine these with Pouvoir. I assume using 'Faire' it would be:
-s'il fait beau, nous pouvons faire une promenade dans le parc.
1) Is this correct?
2) Is there a way of saying this using the reflexive verb/conjugation with se promoner?
Thank you :)
when writing about being somewhere, when do you use à and when do you use de?
a specious explanation. Brushing of my hair!
When combining conjugations like ne jamais and ne nulle part, do we keep the nulle part rule of going at the end of the clause?
Example:
Je n'ai jamais nulle part allé
Ou
Je n'ai jamais allé nulle part
I never went anywhere
j'adore la série Lupin et l'acteur Omar Sy. vous avez raison, il possède un charme hors du commun. je l'ai vu pour la première fois dans le film "Les Intouchables". Maintenant, je vais devoir le chercher sur YouTube pour regarder les sketchs! :)
Shouldn't it be "Elle a dû l'oubliée?" [She must have forgotten it.]
Here, Oublier is infinitive form of the verb which means - to forget. So, in this example isn't it translated to - She must have forget about it, which doesn't sound right. How can it be translated to '...forgotten it.' which is past tense?
Hello, why is it:
Mon village favori ?
and
Mon village préféré?
Its not spoken about the past? And if, why "favori"?
