On ________ passés par là ? Did we pass this way?
the answer is On siesta passes par la? Why isn't it On est passé par là?
The plural passes seems wrong to me.

in this example, two questions:
Ce sont les meilleures vacances qu'elle ait passées!
1. why "ce" instead of "ces", if vacances is plural?
2. why pasées instead of passée, if the noun is singular and avoir doesn't match in number?

I'm returning to this lesson after being away from it awhile. And I have the same concern as before: The examples do not tie to the ones on the tests. Terribly confusing. Sometimes using "a", other times not. What gives? I can't be the only one rattled by this, Could someone please simplify this for me? Thanks.
There should have been included in the vocabulary list additional words including
the Halloween characters. These are words that are not part of daily speech.
Like chris w I find this one difficult every time it comes round, due to the English translations given -
1. the English "certain" can carry either of the two meanings described here
2. "particular" also has several meanings, but it’s usually specific and not at all vague. Perhaps some more examples would help?
shouldn't it be "toutes les glaces" as its femine plural
