A1 beginner focus test

two issues:

#1: question was: “What is the French number ‘14,052’ in English?” This question should read “What is the ENGLISH number ‘14,052’ in FRENCH?” A lot of your number questions are written back to front.

2nd issue: I answered ‘14 052’ but it was marked wrong and the less common ‘14.052’ was given as the correct answer. But my answer is correct...?

Is it possible to reset one's score?As I move forward, I notice that I am getting good scores on things that I am likely to forget after a few weeks. When I practice them several times in a row, then my score gets higher and higher. If I feel that there are things that I ought to practice for longer, can I reset the score of them?

Why is this correct and the other not?Why is je mets mes chaussures où d'habitude? correct but when you invert the verb and keep the rest the same it is incorrect? Per the quiz "mets-je mes chaussures où d'habitude? is incorrect. I didn't choose either of them as it seemed strange to have the où in the middle like that but was surprised to see one of them was in fact correct. Please explain. Thanks.

"You must clean their room"Bonjour, I understand that using "Il faut" + infinitive is very formal, but if I want to express "You must clean their room" I believe this would be "Il te faut nettoyer sa chambre". Or, to sound less formal, would it be more common to say "Tu dois nettoyer sa chambre" ? Merci en avance ! Kathy

Aigü and aigüeThe example uses masculine and feminine endings but in your "instruction" there is no mention feminine v s masculine...only the NOT derived from verbs... become -üe in the written form, but are pronounced in exactly the same way as the masculine form." Could you clarify this?

Aimer/aimer bien

I wrote 'Martin aime Sarah ' for the sentence Martin likes Sarah but it was corrected to 'Martin aime bien Sarah'. I know 'aimer 'is tricky and I studies the lesson but still don't understand the difference.

Just a comment. My French penpal drilled into my head "et demie", deux heures et demie, onze heures et demie, but she never told me about "midi/minuit et demi", which I learned here. :-)
