adverbs in negative sentences?

what are the positions of adverbs in negative passe compose sentences
for example the adverbs which are ending -ement
je n'ai pas lentement mangé or je n'ai pas mangé lentement?

Depuis with Passé Composé

If a date or measurement of time is not included in a sentence, can you use passé composé with depuis? Examples:

"On parle de ce qui s'est passé depuis qu'on s'est vues."

" Depuis quelques années, le lac a diminué."

The translation given for "Ta voiture est petite. - Oui, mais c'est petit dans mon garage.""Your car is small. - Yes, but my garage is small."

The second sentence seems like it should be the car that is small in the garage. Is the translation correct?

why use d' in front of adorable?why is d' used with, elles ont fait d'adorable bracelets and des used with, vous aver fait les des cookies pour la foire. I understand adorable begins with a vowel, as there are mulitple cookies, I don't understand why the plural, des, has not been used. Thankyou

C'est une voiture d'occasion?- Non, elle ou c'est...Shouldn't the second sentence in this example read, Non, c'est neuf or Non, c'est nouveau, with a masculine adjective?

Surname - nom or nom de famille should both be accepted

Official French documents I have had to complete - eg long stay visa applications etc use < nom > for surname; it should be accepted on its own, not just as < nom de famille >. Knowing that when asked for < votre nom > in France, the correct response is your surname rather than first name, is one of the little differences encountered quite regularly. Although official documents do use < état civil >, both < situation familiale > and < situation de famille > are also used in general conversations and enquiries of marriage/domestic arrangements.

English translation - subject/object confusion In the above statement: Cher Matt, chère Kate, vous me manquez. is translate to: Dear Matt, dear Kate, I miss you. Why wouldn't it translate to: You miss me? I am having difficulty sorting the word order required in French for this English translation. Thank you

Unanswered questions and scoring.I understood that marks are not deducted for unanswered questions. However, I made no errors in a test but had 2 unanswered questions (1 in error) and I was deducted 0.6%. I should be working on B1 and B2 but because I am only 2% short of 100% in A1, I have been determined to achieve that level. Over time, I have done 12 tests with lots of ups and downs and am no nearer reaching 100%. It is much easier to progress at B1 and B2 than it is at A1!! Bien cordialement, Beverley
