Can anyone explain to me why there is a "ne" in the following sentences:
"Je crains que vous ne conduisiez trop vite" translated in the quiz as "I fear that you drive too fast."
"Les feuilles dorées auront tombé avant que nous n'arrivions" translated in the quiz as "The golden leaves will have fallen before we arrive."

I always learnt that: " I went up the ladder was" took the verb "être"
Je suis allée jusqu'a l'echelle
Why is it in your example with "avoir". "I went up the stairs"
"J'ai monté les escaliers"??
Just to confirm, is a “non-verbal” sentence is a “written” sentence? So we can write down “Pas encore” in response to a question but we can’t actually say it....?

Regarding this example:
Nous étions restés bons amis, jusqu'à ce qu'il la rencontre.We'd remained good friends, until he met her.
...should it not be
Nous étions restés bons amis, jusqu'à ce qu'il l'a rencontrée.
...?
It looks like sometimes you use the partitive article 'des' even when referring to general things, for example:
Le vin blanc me donne des maux de tête.
or the following sentence from an exercise: 'J'étudierais un sujet qui me plaît, en rencontrant des gens intéressants
Can someone explain this please?
In a quiz I was asked to translate "My aunt drives as carefully as my uncle" and I responsed with "Ma tante conduit aussi prudemment que mon oncle". Why did Kwiziq mark this wrong and want "document"? Aren't both of these equally valid translations?
And this lesson does not even use the word doucement, which might have indicated that Kwiziq perferred that word.
Searching on the web provides thousands of instances of "conduire prudemment" with the meaning of carefully.
