There seems to be a mistake in this lessonNote: when they are both used, ceci usually refers to the 'former' and cela the 'latter' idea.

It is the other way round, I think.

Environ, vers and aux alentours de......

Could someone explain the subtleties of these three?

I used 'environ' which was marked incorrect.

Each example of aux alentours de was paired with a 24-hour clock and vers with the 12-hour clock. Are they interchangeable?

Sur and à and en for transportThe question was (Write "The monkey is on the bike." : "Le singe est ________ la bicyclette.") I also have a difficulty with knowing when to use sur. In this instance I used "à" because it was a means of transport although instinctively I wanted to use "sur". Are bicyclettes an exception or have I missed something?

Still being marked incorrect??

Will this query ever be addressed or am I just not understanding the subtleties of 'leaving'?

The question is: How would you say "They are leaving soon"

From the list of multiple choice answers, I chose only one option: Ils partent bientôt

I am flagged as 'nearly correct' for not choosing : Ils sortent bientôt as well.

It is my understanding from everything I've read in the lesson and via the responses that "sortir" only means 'leaving' when used with 'de'.
