Q-) Choisissez la bonne réponse:
"Nous téléphonons à ami de Nathalie."
Ou
"Nous téléphonons à l'ami de Nathalie."
From the above two sentences, which one is correct...also please provide me with the appropriate reason for the correct answer.
Does this originate from France? Is there a melody?
Why is there "le" in the sentence: Tu révèles ton secret et nous révélons le notre.
Hi dear French learners,
Would you mind helping me understand which translation is correct between the Italic and Bold part of the target text?
Part of the reason for that could be the large number of Americans who aren't accustomed to taking regular vacations, and who therefore have not developed an effective strategy for readjusting to their routines when they do. According to the 2017 State of American Vacation study, 54 percent of Americans left unused vacation time on the table in 2016, while 43 percent of employees said that their reason for opting out of vacation was the “the mountain of work” they’d have upon their return.
Thank you.
Can 'pire' be used instead of the 2nd and 3rd highlighted adverbs? Also is pire=le pire? "the worst"? E.g. C'est le pire film. (Its the worst film.) Thanks in advance.
Salut! Would “trop” be accepted instead of “si” in the sentences. I used it in both the sentences in the passage but they were corrected to “si”. Is there a difference? Thank you
What does RTT mean? I had never heard of this term in the dictée and its not the sort of thing that is covered in the explaining lessons
This weeks Weekend workout (A Lovely Encounter 31-09-2018) asks for a translation of 'She had just closed her eyes when she heard a little squeal comming from the bushes.'
For the 'when she heard' section I answered: 'quand elle a entendu' but the answer was given as 'quand elle entendit' (passé sample).
Could you please explain why "quand elle a entendu" is incorrect.
