I understand that de + les = des, but is it more natural to use 'des' here, even though the 'les' is part of the title "Les Misérables"? The alternative correct answer was given as 'la petite fille dans "Les Misérables", which seems to preserve the title of the book.
I thought that la peau would be an acceptable response rather than ma peau because it’s clear Marc is referring to his skin so there’s no need to use the personal pronoun?

Hi, I would like to know which one is correct.
"il parle le français de mieux en mieux."
"il parle de mieux en mieux le français."
So you only use va/vont? And do you conjugate with the person or the object?
Eg la rose va a ma sœur - is it la rose or ma sœur that is triggering these use of va?
In the same way, how would you say the rose suits us?
"Ils avaient fait..."
"Il avait fait..."
These two sentences sound same. Is there a way that we can understand the correct sujet?

Greetings! The translation of "des aromes de fumier" above says "smoky aromas," but I'm seeing in the dictionary that the meaning of "fumier" is "manure." Is the translation above mistaken?
