can't ı say that "Il faut qu’elle soit partie avant midi."= she must have finished your homework...
title of the lesson is "Il faut que is always followed by Le Subjonctif Présent"
I think it must be uncorrect
I read the lesson and it indicated that in the negative, with depuis on should use the passe' compose and I got it wrong. The correct answer shows the present tense should be used. This is contrary to the lesson. I am confused and need clarification.
Thank you, Norma
Does Lawless French plan on incorporating audio questions to their Kwizis? (For example: "type what you hear".) I really enjoy doing the listening practices and know they're beneficial, however, since you cannot earn points doing them, it can be hard sometimes to find enough motivation to do them over the arguably easier kwizis.
Also, if this addition was to be made, it could be optional. (e.g. "Would you like to include audio questions in this kwizi?" or something like that.)
Just an idea :)
Is "de la" in this sentence partitif?
Can we also translate it to "c'est la même couleur"?
Buvez-en ! means......."Drink some". Can you explain why "Drink them !" would be incorrect? Thank you.
To quote the lesson
Mes élèves travaillent bien,______ ______mon collègue aussi est sérieux.
Use pronom démonostratif
Hello there,
What is the difference/nuance between this two sentences?
Je ne vais jamais à Marseille.
Je ne suis jamais allée à Marseille.
Is there a difference between "attendre à ce que" and "attendre que"? "J'attendrai que tu t'endormes" = "I'll wait for you to fall asleep" = "I'll wait until you fall asleep". I see no difference in meaning and the simple "que" is more elegant.
Do "living things" include animals?
