I did have to look this one up! But for anyone else who was wondering, "sans chocolat" is absolutely correct. I had thought it would be "sans le chocolat."
Why are we saying des before a noun followed by an adjective?

Dear Sir or Madame: The last line lists "quatre cent variétés de fromage français." Why is it quatre cent vs. quatre cents? The lesson on large numbers would lead me to believe this should be plural. Also, how would I write out this question as posed in French?
It’s the first time that I’ve come across « faire revenir » in culinary terms. Is it used over « faire dorer » for that manner of cooking or can either expression be used ?
What is more commonly used in French - aimer or plaire?

I have mentioned time as six heures quarante-cinq why it is marked wrong
I am thrown off because most of the sentences here don’t seem to imply a desire or hypothetical. The English translation seems to imply that the person actually is attentive which is what the speaker likes. No wish is implied.
