Hello,
Is there's a difference between "pour avoir fait" and "ayant fait"? If yes, when does one use which?
Thanks!
Jo
Why is "La carte vous donne aussi" correct and not "vous donnez"?
Hello,
"Commun" sounds like "Comman" this is a little confusing, you cannot hear the 'U' is there an explanation ?
Many Thanks
Is it also OK to say:
Il on a besoin avoir du bois sec as we as il faut avoir du bois sec.
SEC is one syllable - I thought one syllable adjectives went before the noun?
Every time I do this exercise I make the mistake of translating 'who helped viewers chose what to watch' as 'qui aidaient les téléspectateurs à choisir ce que regarder' rather than 'quoi regarder'. Why is quoi the preferred translation?
I was wondering as I am understanding adjectives. I'm confused on extrêmement! There was a sentence in my book that saying un extrêmement vieux livre but it was marked wrong when I put extrêmement at the end of the noun live. Why is that wrong?
Thank you!!
Elsewhere on the site, there is an example sentence: Ils sucent encore leur pouce. They're still sucking their thumbs. Why doesn't leur pouce become le/la/les pouce(s)?
