Hi can l’imparfait be used to decribe both an ongoing action in the past and a completed action in the past? For eg. why is Je lisais tous les jours, I study every day and Je alles is marche, I was going to the market?
This confused me: "- If the main verb is __NOT used with negations__, then you CANNOT use the ne explétif. - If the main verb is __used with a negation__, you can use the ne explétif, but it is considered optional"

Unless I am mistaken, the words 'Ce livre' mean 'This book' in English. The example given uses 'A book'
Je lis un livre. Ce livre s'appelle "Orgueil et Préjugés". -> Je lis un livre qui s'appelle "Orgueil et Préjugés".
I'm reading a book. A book is called "Pride and Prejudice" -> I'm reading a book which/that is called "Pride and Prejudice".

Hello, i was wondering if someone could please explain to me the scoring system for listening exercises. I got essentially all the words correct apart from the punctation and some accents, and i got a 17/60? Am i losing marks for not including commas and accents etc?

Edit: I have redone the exercise, and got even more correct answers, I fixed some accents and a few spelling mistakes I had made, and my score was 5/60?
In the sentence, ”But the ceremony lasted too long and the sketches were boring at times”, I translates "at times" by "parfois", which was not accepted. Should it be?
Hello, sometimes when I type the correct word, correct spelling, correct accents, correct punctuation, and everything, the word still gets highlighted as "different" than the example given. Even though my answer is the exact same as the one given. What could be the solution here ? It is marking me down a lot of points I should'nt be marked down for.
