Hi, with s'en aller I get the meaning of an action of going away or just gone away, so quite different from the passé composé but,whereas the passé composé is very structured and always uses the same past participle for the verb the s'en aller expression seems to vary eg je m'en vais,tu t'en vas, giving the idea of a present tense action or an imperfect,IE I/you are going away/have just gone away BUT nous nous sommes est allé  and presumably vous vous étes est allé use the past participle of aller. So ,the question is,does this alter the meaning in any way and is it just a grammatical irregularity which has to be learned.?

ma cousine est venue pour le fetes de noel _______ elles est arrives en retard a cousin du train.

I had written 'Il me faut aller sur le toit', which Kwiziq corrected to 'Il faut que j'aille sur le toit'. I know the construction 'il faut + subjunctive', but could you not use the infinitive when there is the same subject in the main and relative clause? Or does the meaning of the sentence change? Thank you

Instead of "Je joue au football", would it be acceptable to say "Je fais du football" since it's a regular activity?

curious can the verb guarder be used instead of tenor?? for keep?????

I've checked a couple of dictionaries, and I think oxide is not a french word, and it should be oxyde.

This lesson is giving me more grey hairs! I get it wrong constantly!

On the test, you ask “How would you say "You remind him of Audrey Hepburn." ?
the correct answer is: Tu lui rappelles Audrey Hepburn.

My answer is marked as incorrect “Tu rappelles Audrey Hepburn à lui.”

But in the lesson you say:

 Il rappelle son ex à Maria. He reminds Maria of her ex.

Elle rappelle sa sœur à Alain. She reminds Alain of his sister.
