Can you please explain "on s'est passé par là?" vs " on est passé par là?" The first phrase was the correct one on the quiz

"On s'est passé par là" is not a correct sentence in French, so it shouldn't be marked as correct: "on est passé par là" is the only correct option here.
I've looked into our system, and "est passé" is marked as the correct answer.
Would you by any chance remember when you took that test, so we can find your correction board records and look into it ?
