Les indéfini (tout, toute(s), tous)

Hello there.

In this question: Les champions sont…… heureux.

I think that tous(adj) and tout(adv) are both correct.

Les champions sont tous heureux.

=The champions are all happy.

Les champions sont tout heureux.

=The champions are very happy.

If I'm wrong, pleas tell me which indéfini is true

'His' breed or 'this' breed?

....and like other dogs of his breed.

I wrote "son espèce" but was corrected to cette espèce.

La salle de consultationThis term is used rather than "salle d'auscultation". I've never heard this term ever used in France.

In the sentence “Perfect, I tell you !”, I wrote “Parfait, je vous le dis !” thinking that the ‘le’ is required to note ‘the weekend’ but it seems not

Ancien meaning before and after the noun

Bonjour / Bonsoir.

Ancien is one of those adjectives that changes meaning whether before or after the noun - former when before and ancient when after. However I came across the sentence in a French magazine - "l'un des plus anciens sites du pays", which obviously means one of the most ancient sites in the country. Presumably the inclusion of the 'plus' shifts the 'anciens' to in front of the noun and it retains its meaning of ancient. So "l'un des sites plus anciens du pays" would be wrong ?
