What about sentences that end with "non."In this context, is a sentence that ends with "non" (like "Tu as faim, non ?") considered a positive or negative question? I am guessing it is positive, and that an affirmative answer would be made with "oui" instead of "si."

indefinite ''des'' vs partitive ''des''

Ok, we know that: '' Partitive articles, du, de la, & de l' (some/any) are used with mass nouns. Definite articles (le, la, l', les) and indefinite articles (un/une/des) are used with countable nouns.

Then what partitive ''des'' is used for? What is the difference between those two ''des''? The indefinite ''des'' vs the partitive ''des''. Are not there any uncountable nouns that have any plural form or something like that?

mariage vs noce

In French, what is the distinction between le mariage vs la noce.

I understand that le mariage is the commitment you make to another person.

But, what I find it a little confusing is that I've seen the two words used interchangably to describe the ceremony on the wedding day. Please explain this difference.
