I love this Alsatian news broadcast. So funny! The play on words are superb: Prime Minister Cresson and watercress; the S P meaning "ça prûle"; the Haut and Bas-Rhin with reins. So funny. Most of all, l had the acute feeling that l was in France, but maybe in Germany...maybe France? Great way to teach the discombobulation Alsatians have experienced over time  through being attached to this country and then that and then this one again. The presenter's suit and tie etc.,  say it all. 😀 Thank you! A fun end to my French learning today.

When would one use "le trafic" and when "la circulation"?

Dans le texte, j'ai remarqué que "Liban" est parfois précédé de "Le", et parfois de La. Pouriez-vous clarifier cela? SVP.

In this sentence - 'Ce n'est pas tant qu'elle n'aime pas ça, mais plutôt qu'elle aime trop ça ' - why is ça preferred over le? Does 'Ce n'est pas tant qu'elle ne l'aime pas, mais plutôt qu'elle l'aime trop' sound wrong to French ears?

So why is it that 1e, 2e, 3e, is only used for ranks / positions and never for dates.. (except 1st/ 1e i think?)

J'ai choisi créer pour "made up" mais il ne marchait pas.  À sa place, vous avez proposé "inventer."  Dans la deuxième instance, j'ai utilisé "inventer ".  Vous avez fait la correction, "créer ".  Je pense que tous les deux devraient être acceptable dans chaque traduction.  Make up, imagine, create sont des synonymes dans le contexte de cette histiore.  L'histoire était mignon comme d'habitude.  Félicitations !
