Salut! Je m'appelle Lulu. J'ai une question a propos mon quiz.
I was asked to put a check mark next to the sentences that had the correct order of the adjective. I did not put a check mark on the following sentence: "un ogre grand comme une maison" because according to the lesson, the adjective "grand" is placed before the noun, but in this sentence the adjective "grand" is after the noun and it was marked as wrong. Could you please explain why I got it wrong? I am confused about this grammar rule. Merci beaucoup.
Est-ce qu'on peut utiliser le mot français, la péninsule, au lieu de 'la presqu'île' ? Si non, quelle est la différence ?
to me it sounds like
La planète mérite bien cet effort
"Parfait, je vais prendre ça" or "Parfait, je vais prendre cela" .
Why not "je vais ça prendre" ? Isn't the object pronoun before the verb?
What does "coup de venir" exactly mean?
Hello,
This is the sentence I'm talking about: He was sick all day yesterday.
This is why I'm confused:
a) It could be imparfait because I believe that when you talk about health, you use the imparfait.
b) It could be passé composé because you know the time-frame of when it (him being sick) took place: all day yesterday.
Is there a difference between 3 ques and 2 ques? Confused.
