Novel = un roman.

'Graphic' in English means very clear and powerful, vivid, explicit.

Therefore a graphic novel = un roman graphique or un roman illustré.

une BD = a comic strip.

could someone explain for me like broken down what is the source of this so my brain can understand lol like ok im sorry this is hard to explain but for example "je" = i, "m'" = iop, "to me", "apelle"= je form of s'apeller. so like, what does each thing, "il," "y," and "a" mean? i think il is 3rd person singular so it works as "it?" and idk about the y and the "a" is 3rd person singular of avoir, "has"?

et quand  elle souffle....could the future tense me used future-present tense. When suggests it sometime in the futur

 In the following question the answer is given as 'plus d'argent que' having de before plus doesn't sound right to me, can someone explain please.

J'ai besoin de ________ l'année dernière pour produire l'exposition.

I need more money than last year to produce the exhibition.

“trois-cent-quarante    three hundred and forty”

However, in the lesson “Expressing large numbers -thousands/millions/billions - in French” the description begins with:

“Up to neuf cent quatre-vingt-dix-neuf [choses] (999 [things])”       

Which example is correct? Should there be hyphens between all parts of the number, or just some of them?

Why does "CP" correspond to "first grade"? How are French grade levels named?

The order of verbs in the headline, participles in the first line of text, and the subsequent examples are in different orders.  It would be helpful to order each list the same.
