Translations:
Later, we are going to have a new flat.Later on, we had a new flat.Later, we will have a new flat.I thought it was strange that you have two future English forms with 'will' and 'going to' but I can't find an explanation of the different translations and appropriate use in French.
<< Vous les montrez à mon père et vous ________ ensuite. >>
The answer is : << me les montrez >>
Why isn't << les montrez à moi >> allowed in this case?
It seemed to me the subj.present verb 'travaille' had the ''subject je so the qui/que was providing the object, hence I chose que, but apparently the answer is qui. See also tips in the above lesson, since it is followed by je shouldn't it be que?
The lesson says that apparaitre and naitre and derivatives use etre in the passe compose. But in the Test, the rabit disapeared from the hat uses avoir.
In the test question with the magic beanstalks, the only accepted answer is Jack got off the magic bean stalk.
In three dictionaries that I have looked up (especially Le Robert & Collins), one of the meanings of decendre with etre is to 'climb down (a tree). Now the preposition 'from' is missing in those definitions but is that so significant a difference that the answer 'Jack climbed down the magic beanstalk" becomes incorrect.
In case of " bien que" in "aimer bien" followed by "que" , why is the verb " faire" in subjonctif( such as the example in the lesson: J'aimerais bien que tu fasse le petit-dejeuner. I don't understand here . So in this case, have we still use subjonctive mood? Thanks!
Why is 'enchanté de vous rencontrer' a commonly used french expression not listed among the correct options for 'Pleased to meet you' ?
In the phrase, "curieuses boîtes", how do you know to place curieuses before the noun.
Thanks
