"et je m'étais préparé une journée aux petits oignons."
Since the speaker/narrator is clearly a women, wouldn't the sentence be...
"et je m'étais préparée une journée aux petits oignons." ???
Details it
I wrote 'les chauves-souris' . Your text was 'les chauve-souris'. After completion of the dictee, I checked dictionaries which add s to chauve in the plural form. ??
mais comme je prends froid facilement,
mais comme je prends facilement froid.
Both are correct.
When talking about Saturday and Sunday, "le" is used. But the grammar section on articles + days of the week says that if you are talking about a particular day of the week (i.e., a particular Saturday, as the Saturday of this romantic weekend) and not the day in general, you don't use the article. So why is it used here?
Why is the example « deux-cents » hyphenated, but « J’ai cinq cents euros. » is not hyphenated ? Thank you.
For example “I just got here. I’ll be staying for an hour”
