I do not understand this lesson either. I ask, too, that it be written. I also ask that the columns in the tables be labeled. I don't know what they are trying to say.
Do "living things" include animals?
The suggested grammar sections to read did not relate to what I got wrong, which was mostly prepositions or vocabulary. Does that mean you don’t have lessons on those points? Maybe you should add them. I don’t think you should test on points that you don’t have explanations for on your site.

Pourquoi le mot "bassin" a été utilisé dans la texte au lieu de " piscine" ? Dans quelles circonstances on utilise chaque mot ?? Dans les phrases finales, pourquoi "la piscine" n'est pas accepté par l'outil ?

Il ne faut pas de partenaire. Can one use this to mean "You don't need a partner."
In this example of passive voice for se faire gronder why does faite end in e? I thought fait was invariable when a past participle following a feminine/ plural direct object with avoir or following être as in this case.

I could not find photocopier in the Library Index so used Larousse online dictionnaire. This gave both photocopieur (n.m.) and photocopieuse (n.f.) I chose the masculin form so did not mark myself down. Is there a reason to prefer the feminin form?
